15 months after the release of “Formation Of Chaos” the duo Deied, constisting of Din-Tah Æon and n1n0 (amongst others aeon sable, Melanculia), return with their new work “Tales Of Sodenliah”. The album’s protagonist strolls, in the name of mankind, through the valleys of the imaginary Sodenliah – on the search for answers of this society’s questions.

Mankind for the first time achieves, to enter the interior of the human mind and what comes across the main character’s way even makes religious lore and darwin’s evolution theory look like discount goods of an inflationary store.

“If you continue this way, we ALL will die!” the quintessence of the gained awarenesses, which are described in the 10 tracks of the album. Altogether “Tales Of Sodenliah” becomes a genial Science Fiction Soundtrack, which, due to the subtle audio technique and it’s extraordinary instrumentation, rises far above a standardized play back and lyrical words and sometimes reminds of downfall scenarios of bands like Project Pitchfork or Wumpscut.

This audio-experience is linked with the artwork of the german underground-artist Ghostfog, who is responsible for a part of the new album, too. “Tales Of Sodenliah” will be released on September the 23rd 2011 as a download as much as in a limited digipack edition on afmusic (TS-Musix) and Ionium Records.

2011 isn’t just the year in which woman’s football is accepted finally – it’s also the year of dAVOS! Only a few months after the retrospective “Promo 2004-2010″ and about 2 years after the last release “Split” the synthpop-masters from Austria come back with brand new material – for the fan’s delight.

“Tender Loving Care” is the new maxi-single’s name, which even could be an EP, due to it’s filled up content and whose content, with all the remixing guests, makes oneself’s mouth water. Scene-ikon and producer Per-Anders Kurenbach also has worked here, as much as Chai of Jesus On Extasy and AndyK of Melotron. “We know and cherish Andy Krüger of Melotron for a while and as we played the song “Tender Loving Care” for him, when he visited vienna the last time, he urgently wanted to remix the song.” The result came out quite acceptable.

Next to that, the CD, which will be available as a download too, contains the first professional music video (http://youtu.be/dBIsYiY3tKc) in dAVOS’ band history. It was shot in two clubs in vienna. “The shooting was a lot of fun, not even because of the beautiful extras.” dAVOS revealed. “It all felt very real and easy. Leopold (the director) has made a very good job.” With the video, also the new line-up will be presented, in which Matt C. took over the job of Gerd Hall. Matt is very comfortable in that position: “When I was asked lovingly by Michael last year, if I want to join dAVOS, because they would need a good man, I already had some other offers of well-known bands. I am convinced, that this was the right choice.”

“Tender Loving Care” is more than just an appetizer for the upcoming album “I Could Sense A Tragedy”. This maxi-single underlines the deep love and solidarity of dAVOS to their fans. After the last two albums “Zettel am Zeh” (2009) and “Dwarfs Like Giants” (2010) MeCha and Skip decided to relax and record a coverversion just for fun, which they’ve planned a long time ago and which would be a difficult one. Both were very enthusiastic, that suddenly there were 7 songs and the decision was made, to release an ep, to share the love for these Indie-evergreens with friends and fans.

The EP received the matching name “Gitarre kaputt” (Guitar broke), ’cause all songs are guitar pieces, which were pulled to the dark electronic side of the force, but also trying to keep their magic. Equal it is Indie-Rock, Rockabilly or Wave, oneself just had to love the songs and due to this reason, they decided to start the project and create the interpretations, which are good to be silent, but also bring people closer together, who hadn’t have the luck to grow up with these songs.

So this box of treasures contains something for everyone, nevermind if for the club or for dreaming at home, for young or old, there is no way to escape the songs’ gravity and from loving them, and if it only brings oneself to dust out the LP-box and bring the old original hits back on the turntable after a long time. Hopefully one or another is encouraged to research through the musical past and to discover, which musical masterpieces they’ve missed so far.

mind area’s new ep ‘means to an end’ consequently keeps the way, which was chosen with the debut album ‘long distance side trip’ and the ep ‘stagnaton//death’ released shortly after that. Though the ep is a further evolution of the dark-ambient sound with distorted industrial sound, it also is a hint to the upcoming album.

More uncompromising the different stylistic devices of electronic music become a dangerous and at the same time fascinating soundrack. Not at last the vocals of friendly singers give the songs the life, which aims constant change.

Released out of an eternal dream, Ghostfrog, after a successful collaboration with Seetha Rao (Frightnights – Bad Night Stories, 2010), crawls through the the attenuated fields of industrial music on his own. The single “Hear Them Whisper” and the proper video underline the musical growth of the Industrial artist from Essen (Germany), for whom classic conventions and common success-concepts are foreign words, in an impressive way.

For one it will be dystopic noise, for the other a mysterious cry of lust out of a machine in the moment of its awakening. Industrial impressions of the daily grind are bound to an excessive consumption of cold music in this interpretition of an avantgardistic thinking artist. The 5-song single is completed with a really complex animation video, which catches the threatening atmosphere of the title song.

With their debut album “Water” the serbian electro-formation BLAME has already created a pearl of electronic music, which gained a very big fan community, especially on the internet. With the follow-up “Convergent Fields” mastermind Boris Posavec ties in with the first release and makes the logical next step.

Because “Convergent Fields” is an album for wallowers of virtuosity. The Arrangements are entirely, no sound has been chosen randomly, the love for the detail is searching it’s peers, with every new listening there is something new to discover and over all the unique voice of Prosavec is floating. BLAME succeeds in the tightrope walk of catching the listener from the first second and making the songs catchy, suitable for clubs and unmistakable.

Like tessellations the numerous details build every single song, the 14 songs build a homogeneous album. A musical post-apocalyptic world is created, in which technology seems to climb on the top of evolution and the human race has to knuckle down. No escape, no hope. A world only BLAME can create. Because they succeed in what only a few bands succeed in: creating their own unmistakable sound. In a time where the music scene gets flooded by thousands of copies, this is an achievement high to estimate.

Simultaneously with the album-release “Convergent Fields” Ionium Records re-releases the CD-album “Water” by BLAME, which was released on Klangdynamik Records before, in order to make it available for the fans in digital form worldwide and in CD-format in Germany.

The first tones of the opener “Ragnarok – The Final Winter” already abduct us into the underwater world of BLAME. The fragile, sentimental voice of Boris Posavec assures from the beginning, that you have real artists here, who really have to tell something. “Legions – Across These Oceans” throw us in a log flume, which has a lot of content. Driving basslines and exploding beats make this song to a real club killer. The Track “Waterside” convinces with “covenantesque” sequences and a melancholic atmosphere, the vocals discreetly in the background, making place for precisely programmed rhythms.

We’re diving deeper into the track “I hate Your Evolution”, which shows clearly, in it’s shortness, that BLAME doesn’t need much space to spread its word. Like a refreshing shower on a sticky day seems “Unless (Violent)”, which is enriched by female vocals, next to Boris’ voice. The following tracks are instrumental songs, which have a lot to offer too. So inhale deeply and plunge deep. “Waterside (Hypogeum)” offers an interesting alternative version of “Waterside”, enriched with techno-elements.

“Water” offers a mixture of electronic dance music, which simply makes fun. A symbiosis of awesome broad arcs of melody, catching vocals and perfectly attached loops. A must-have for electro fans!
